Original CAR Online Course

The CAR System eLearning Course was originally developed in 2008 by Jeff Johnsgaard for Paul Castle and Sabre Tactical. The course has been taken by hundreds of Law Enforcement, Military and responsible protection minded Civilians over the years with very positive feedback.

We at Natural Tactical Systems have evolved the CAR System both in technique and in process over 10 years and this evolution is comprised in our courses in “360° CQD” (close quarter defense). The root of the CAR System is still within 360° CQD and that is why taking this eLearning course is of benefit.

The big benefit of this eLearning platform is that is can be taken completely at the pace of the student, wherever and whenever they wish. Once purchased the course is downloaded by the student and is contained on their computer. No need for internet connections to study and the course can be taken as many times as they like in order to maximize learning.

The course is composed of 4 Modules (see below). Each module is a PowerPoint training presentation containing graphics, text, pictures and embedded videos saved as an MP4. The course represents a thorough level of instruction in all aspects of the CAR System and will allow the student to develop a functional level of ability with the CAR System.

The Course was designed to offer a logical and easy to follow eLearning experience for those who could not attend live training or to do prior to live training to maximize their in person training time.

You will not become an expert in the CAR System by taking the CAR eLearning Course. You will however have the opportunity to properly learn all the fundamental principles that make the CAR System one of the best there is for close quarters confrontations involving firearms.

Civilian access to the CAR eLearning Course and related resources is permitted. Self protection is everyone’s right and responsibility and we constantly try to balance this with only sharing our information with good people.
